Project Details: In 2020, OtherPowers worked with UNHCR to vision, design & launch UNHCR’s R4V platform & refuge-facing app. R4V is an multi-NGO collaboration platform connecting thousands of participating global organizations (such as RedCross, Doctor’s without Borders, UNICEF) with UNHCR-coordinated global supplies, teams & resources.
R4V now provides critical goods & services to over 6.5M displaced persons and at-risk communities in Venezuela and its surrounding countries.
Just after launching, the platform was quickly re-purposed to serve as an emergency COVID-relief & global disaster coordination platform. R4V is now actively used by an additional 18 federal governments, across a number of humanitarian crises & human rights efforts.
OtherPowers Services: UX, Visioning-to-launch, ENG, Product Management, DEI Strategy. MVP (0-1) Desktop Platform Ops Tools & Database for multiple global NGOS + paired mobile app for on/offline displaced-persons & communities.
